Staff Nurse (Wytheville)

Part Time

We are seeking an RN to join our ministry team that make an impact for life in SWVA!

The Staff Nurse (RN) works under the direction of the PRC Nurse Manager to provide Christ-centered compassionate medical care to those making significant life choices through free pregnancy tests, limited ultrasounds, STI testing/education, medical assistance and support. The Staff Nurse implements best practices within medical policies and procedures established by the PRC Medical Director and CEO to achieve the mission prescribed by the PRC Board of Directors.

Qualifications:

  • Must hold a current RN license in good standing with the VA Board of Registered Nurses

  • Is computer proficient for the daily tasks of client charting, etc.
  • Self-motivated, dependable and responsible
  • A minimum of two years nursing experience (Preferred)

Patient Advocate (Wytheville)

Part-time, 3 days a week

The PRC is seeking a Patient Advocate that will serve the PRC as trained lay counselors through programs including, but not limited to, pregnancy options counseling, STI counseling, emotional and spiritual support, and pregnancy & parenting classes. These candidates will work with the Center Director towards administrating overall patient care.

  • Ability to handle confidential information with sensitivity and discretion.
  • Two years experience in a service field desired.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in human/social services preferred.

Communications Manager

Part Time, 25 hours a week

The Communications Manager manages all communications and client outreach resources to promote the mission of the PRC. Promotions include, but are not limited to materials for donor events, client outreach events, fundraisers, regular written publications, website information and more. The Communications Manager implements the VWC’s client outreach plan in the community. By utilizing a professional team of designers, marketing professionals, and website professionals, the Communications Manager will create and distribute and promote online and physical materials to use with donors and potential clients. The Communications Manager works closely with the Chief Executive Officer and Associate Director to carry out the mission and vision of the PRC Board of Directors.

Patient Coordinator (Wytheville)

Part Time, 2 days, 16 hours per week

The person in this role manages initial client care, including greeting clients, facilitating initial paperwork, answering phones and scheduling appointments. This position supports client services staff via data entry, clerical duties, and general office management. The Patient Coordinator reports directly to and works closely with the Center Director to carry out the mission and vision of the PRC Board of Directors.
