The Pregnancy Resource Center is currently seeking applicants for the following positions:

AdmINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT

Part-time, 30 hours per week

The Administrative Assistant works in our office to help provide our services to our clients. The Administrative Assistant manages initial client care, including greeting clients, facilitating initial paperwork, answering phones and scheduling appointments. This position supports other staff via data entry, clerical duties, and general office management. The Administrative Assistant reports directly to and works closely with the Chief Executive Officer and other administrative staff to carry out the mission and vision of the PRC Board of Directors.

Qualifications:

  • A committed Christian who demonstrates a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, including active membership and participation in a local church.
  • Exhibit strong commitment and dedication to the sanctity of human life.
  • Agree with and be willing to uphold the Statement of Faith, Statement of Principle, the Mission Statement, Core Values of the organization and policies of the center.
  • Skilled in data entry, Microsoft Office, office communications, general office procedures and equipment, client relations, answering phones, hospitality and staff support. 
  • Self-motivated, dependable and responsible.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college preferred.
  • Experience in a related field preferred.

Client Advocate

Part-time, 20-25 hours per week

The PRC is seeking a Client Advocate that will serve the PRC as a trained counselor through programs including, but not limited to, pregnancy options counseling, pregnancy & parenting classes, and our material resource program for clients. This candidate will work with the Director of Client Services towards administrating overall client care, in addition to managing resources and training volunteers.

Qualifications:

  • A committed Christian who demonstrates a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, including active membership and participation in a local church.
  • Exhibit strong commitment and dedication to the sanctity of human life.
  • Agree with and be willing to uphold the Statement of Faith, Statement of Principle, the Mission Statement, Core Values of the organization and policies of the center.
  • Skilled in interpersonal relations, communication, compassionate care-giving, and discerning peer counseling.
  • Demonstrated administrative, organizational and writing skills. 
  • Self-motivated, dependable, independent and responsible.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with sensitivity and discretion.
  • Two years experience in a service field desired.
  • Bachelors Degree in human/social services preferred.

Director of Development

Part-time, 20-25 hours a week

Qualifications:

  • A committed Christian who demonstrates a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, including active membership and participation in a local church.
  • A strong commitment and dedication to upholding the sanctity of all human life. 
  • Agreement with and be willing to uphold the Statement of Faith and Principle, the Mission Statement, Core Values of the organization and the center’s policies (provided with application).
  • Skilled in communications, public speaking, event management, data management and interpersonal relationships. 
  • Proven experience in strategic planning, leadership, donor development, and strategic planning.
  • Self-motivated, dependable and responsible.
  • Has a proven work ethic and ability to complete many tasks in a face paced environment, in addition to proven success negotiating projects with multiple staff and community resources.
  • Skills preferred in one or more of the following areas: communications, graphic design, website management and/or marketing.
  • 2 years experience in related field preferred. 
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college preferred in applicable field.

The Director of Development is responsible for the organization’s community activities and fundraising efforts that will encourage, maintain, and increase the awareness and effectiveness of the mission of the PRC.  The Director of Development will assist the CEO to increase and maintain donor relations, as well as, fundraising support to meet the short and long-term needs of the pregnancy center. These activities shall be consistent with the mission and goals of the organization and shall reach individuals, churches, schools, businesses and organizations in the community. 

The person in this position works closely with the CEO to manage all communication and marketing resources needed to promote the mission of the PRC, enlisting community professionals, as needed.  Promotions include, but are not limited to materials for donor events, client outreach events, fundraisers, regular written publications, PRC website and VWC website. The Director of Development directs the PRC’s client outreach in the community. He/she will manage the design, creation and distribution of promotional materials via an on-line and a physical presence in the community in order to draw in more clients to achieve the overall mission of the organization.

The Director of Development reports directly to and works closely with the CEO to carry out the mission and vision of the PRC Board of Directors.
